Fix Windows 11 error processor not supporting TPM 2-0 and secure Boot

Windows 11 is the latest operating system from Microsoft. It is a replacement of Windows 10. The new Windows 11 offers a lot of features that are not present in the older version of Windows 10. It is a major update to Windows 10, and it includes features that were previously available as part of the Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise editions.

There are three versions of Windows 11: Home, Pro, and Enterprise. They differ in the number of devices they can be installed on (5, 5, and 10 respectively), their support for virtualization technology (Hyper-V), and more.

In this section we will analyses why Microsoft decided to make these changes to their most popular operating system, what new features does this OS have and what are its main strengths. So when we try to update our windows 10 into windows 11 in some machines we get these errors:

What is TPM 2.0?

TPM 2.0 stands for Trusted Platform Module 2.0 and is a specification of the TCG (Trusted Computing Group).TPM 2.0 is a new hardware-based encryption standard that uses a TPM chip to encrypt the entire disk.This section provides an introduction to TPM 2.0 in Windows and its benefits over previous versions of TPM.

The TPM is a chip on the motherboard that provides hardware security to a system by storing keys, passwords, and digital certificates. It also provides some physical security because it is tamper-resistant and can detect any changes to the system’s hardware or firmware. TPM 2.0 is a new security standard for Windows 10 devices. It uses hardware and software to protect against unauthorized access to the system.

The Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM) is a set of hardware, firmware, and software that provides strong encryption protection for sensitive information on the device.

It can be used to encrypt your data, verify your identity, and provide a secure way to store keys or other secrets in an encrypted format so they can’t be accessed by someone who doesn’t have access to your device.

What is secure boot?

Secure Boot is a security measure that checks the integrity of the operating system and prevents it from loading if it has been tampered with. The process starts when you turn on your computer and a hash of the boot loader is created, which will be compared to the next time you boot up your device. If there are any changes, then Secure Boot will not allow startup to happen.

1. Why my machine processor is not currently supported for windows 11?

Actually windows 11 is sported the latest generation processor, when we try to update old generation processor then we get this error “The Processor is not currently supported for windows 11”. If your machine is not computable with windows 11 due to unsupported hardware then am not suggesting to update windows 11 because Microsoft says;

In addition to this, Microsoft claims that:

“Installing Windows 11 on this PC is not recommended and may result in compatibility issues. If you proceed with installing Windows 11, your PC will no longer be supported and won’t be entitled to receive updates. Damages to your PC due to lack of compatibility aren’t covered under the manufacturer warranty.”

However, if you still want to install or upgrade windows 11 then follow my steps which is given below:

Requirement’s to update or install windows 11

1. USB Flash Drive minimum 8GB

2. Internet Connection

3. Windows 11 ISO

4. Rufus

1. If you want to install windows 11 you should have to at least 8GB Flash Drive because when you extract windows 11 ISO it will be around 7GB data so minimum requirement is 8GB.
2. You should have a strong internet connection, when you download windows 11 it’s setup file is 5.51 GB so me suggest to download windows 11 at unlimited internet connection.
3. In the third step now we have to download windows 11 So, to download windows 11 please click below download image:

Scroll download and navigate to “Create windows 11 disk image” in drop down list select “Windows 11 (Multi-edition-ISO) and Click Download button

Now final step select the windows language whatever you want:

Now click on download then click on 64-bit download

Finally your windows download started now:

4. Download Rufus

In forth step you must have to bootable software Rufus

To download Rufus software click on below image:

Scroll down page and click on Rufus 3.20

Now Make Registry to update or install window 11

Press windows _­+ R and Run and type “regedit” (make sure that you have administrative right’s)

Then navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup.

Right-click the MoSetup folder, and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value

Now rename that value AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU. Now Double-click that new value and enter put the value 1 into the Value data field. Select OK when you’re done

Now All steps is done. Now go to the download folder and run the Rufus.exe to make the bootable USB.

At the Top in Device option select your USB and the second option in boot selection locate your windows 11 ISO and the press the start button, your windows ISO will be extract in your USB and USB will be as a Bootable device. Once this process will be finished then Go to my computer and open your USB folder and run the setup.exe 

Now this popup windows will be shown on your screen and your windows getting ready, it will be take some time so be patient.

when this process completed 100% and finished then you will be go to the second phase, this phase also automatically complete all process, no need to change or putting any command.

when this second phase will be completed. CONGRATULATION finally you upgraded you upgraded your system into windows 11. Enjoy…….
